Skinner Construction Co. began in 1988 in Charles Town, West Virginia focusing on fine craftsmanship, design, and detailing - which remains the core of our business. Licensed in West Virginia and Maryland, we are experienced in all facets of the home building process as well as being creative problem solvers. We are located in the southern part of  Jefferson County - just South of Charles Town;, however, we service many areas in West Virginia and Maryland.

At Skinner Construction Co. we enjoy working on Projects that have a special quality... something that sets them apart. Whether it is  a spectacular setting, a special history, the unique interests that the owners or an outside architect bring to the project, the challenge of preserving the character of a home - or creating character where there is none - the story of a place makes building it a rewarding experience for all involved. That's where we find our inspiration.
